The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021), one of the largest business events in Russia, ended on June 5. A delegation from the Vladimir region, headed by Governor Vladimir Sipyagin, also attended the event.
Earlier ProVladimir told that on the second day of the forum, the White House, the administration of Murom and the management of JSC “PO Murommashzavod” signed a document on investing about 6.7 billion rubles to create a production of intelligent mechatronic devices for road and electric vehicles.
On June 3 the Vladimir region administration, Kirzhach district administration and Industrial Platform Group Klima LLC (a Kirzhach company) signed a document on construction and reconstruction of engineering and social infrastructure of industrial technopark Iksel, where climatic equipment is produced. It is planned to invest about 400 million rubles in the development of production in the period from 2021 to 2025. This will allow the technopark to reach its design capacity of two thousand products a year.
On the same day, Vladimir Sipyagin and Dmitry Shachenok, senior director of Mondelēz’s integrated supply chain in Eastern Europe, signed an agreement to send about 2.5 billion rubles to expand production at the confectionery factories in Sobinka and Pokrov. The investment programs will start to be realized in August 2021, the capacity of Vladimir factories will be increased by the third quarter of 2023. This will create 70 new jobs.
At SPIEF-2021 a trilateral agreement was signed by Vladimir Sipyagin, Vladimir’s administration and Ivan Bazhenov, general director of JSC Polymersintez (a Vladimir company). It is planned to invest about three billion Rubles into the project of the creation of the National Center of the membrane technologies and composite materials on the basis of the organization. The realization is planned for the first quarter of 2022 and the center will reach its designed capacity in 2025. The number of new jobs is 150.
The administration of the Vladimir Region signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Director General of the Association of European Business Tadzio Schilling.
“The parties intend to implement joint projects to organize events for European companies, exchange information about investment initiatives and projects, and the participation of representatives of the Vladimir region as experts, speakers, or partners in Association of European Business events,” the White House press service vaguely explains.
