Governor Vladimir Sipyagin dismissed Roman Godunin from his post as his deputy in charge of housing, transport and construction in the Vladimir regional administration. The corresponding decree was dated July 8. Based on the document, the security department checked the information in the income declaration of the vice-governor. And found discrepancies there.
Information about Godunin’s dismissal was promptly confirmed by the White House.
“The head of the region signed a decree to dismiss Roman Godunin from the state post of deputy governor of the Vladimir region and terminate his employment contract with him on July 8, 2021 in connection with the submission of false documents to the employer when entering the state service,” – the regional administration said in a statement.
On July 9, Vadim Gorozhaninov, director of the regional security department, will hold a briefing on the subject. We should remind that at the end of May 2021 a criminal case was opened against Godunin under the article “restriction of competition with the use of official position”. We are talking about the events related to the construction of Rpenskii proezd in the regional center. At the beginning of April the case about cartel collusion at the auction, where the right to carry out works worth more than two billion rubles was brought against Roman Golovin, acting director of the State Unitary Enterprise “DSU-3”.
According to the investigation, the head of the state unitary enterprise concluded a cartel agreement with a competing firm, which is prohibited by antimonopoly laws. Under the contract, the opponent “DSU-3” was the second in the auction, both companies did not reduce the contract price, leaving it the original, that is the maximum – 2.077 billion rubles. The auction was declared null and void – in this case, the first applicant, that is, “DSU-3”, wins. The Investigative Committee suspects Godunin of ordering the director of the State Unitary Enterprise to engage in cartel collusion.
Despite this, Godunin continued to perform his official duties – to attend events, travel to working meetings, and communicate with journalists. The press service of the regional administration often mentioned his name in releases, emphasizing the efficiency of the vice-governor under investigation.
