A Protester Against Keeping QR-Codes Is Fined in Alexandrov city

The trial of the second organizer of the action will be held next week

The case against the organizer of the uncoordinated action, which took place on 21 November, was considered in Alexandrovo. It will be recalled that a small part of local residents protested against the introduction of mandatory QR codes and wrote an appeal to the president. On the eve of the action the organizers were warned and also had preventive talks with them.

The police called the event a “group picket” and drew two administrative reports on two citizens. They were local activist Yury Sayenko, whose name on the website of the Alexandrov city court is letter S., and citizen Ch.

Consideration of the case against the woman was postponed until December 13, 2021 in connection with the demand for additional evidence. And Yuri Sayenko appeared in court on December 7.

“Citizen S. was found guilty of violating the order of holding a public event without filing a notice of its holding in accordance with the established procedure”, – according to the court’s website.

Themis took into account the personality of the guilty, his property status, the absence of circumstances mitigating and aggravating administrative responsibility, as well as the nature of the offense. As a result, the court fined him 20 thousand rubles.
