There Will Be No Lockdown in the Vladimir Region Despite the Serious Situation

Implementation of already imposed restrictive measures is enough, officials believe

The regional Rospotrebnadzor official agency reported that in the Vladimir region, despite the increase in the number of coronavirus cases, there are no plans to introduce a general lockdown. According to Margarina Koltunova, the restrictive measures that are already in place are quite effective, but they must certainly be implemented.

In general, the dynamics of coronavirus in the region is of concern to Rospotrebnadzor officials – last week, the rate of increase was higher than in Russia as a whole.

Rospotrebnadzor added that only vaccination and compliance with sanitary and epidemiological rules can help to reduce the incidence. So, some citizens do not wear masks on public transport in vain, because crowds of people are a threat to the spread of coronavirus.

The department also reminded that those residents of the region, who are treated for COVID-19 at home, must observe the regime of self-isolation and not contact anyone.
