Authorities Are Going to Spend 198 Million Rubles on the Election of Vladimir Region Governor

Funds are already planned in the draft budget

They are ready to spend 198 million rubles on the preparation and conduct of the gubernatorial elections in the Vladimir region. This amount was additionally provided for in the section “National issues” in the draft budget of the region for 2022. The document is posted on the portal of the regional Legislative Assembly.

Traditionally, the section “National issues” takes into account the cost of maintaining the system of government bodies. The regional list includes 37 of them with a staff of 2014.

By comparison, maintenance of the regional administration costs 188.4 million rubles a year, and the Legislative Assembly – 139.5 million. Governor elections in the Vladimir region will be held ahead of schedule – next fall. Voting Day in 2022 is scheduled for September 11. Dates had to be postponed, because the previous head of the region Vladimir Sipyagin resigned prematurely and went to work in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

On November 17, 2021, public hearings on the main regional financial document will be held in the Legislative Assembly. The provisional income in 2022 will amount to 78.4 billion rubles. Expenditures are expected to amount to 84.5 billion rubles. So far, the budget deficit has stood at six billion rubles.

By the way, they want to allocate 167 million rubles for the preparation and conduct of elections to the Legislative Assembly in 2023.
