Another 15,000 doses of vaccine against coronavirus infection have arrived in the Vladimir region, and another 7,200 will be brought in soon. This was reported by the Regional Department of Health.
In total, the region has received more than 96 thousand doses of Sputnik V, with just over 67 thousand residents, 28 thousand of whom are citizens over the age of 65. In the regional capital 18,801 people used their right to free vaccination as of April, 13. The rate of vaccination remains extremely slow compared to the population of the region.
“Residents of the Vladimir region in the older age group are given priority for vaccination against COVID-19. It is also necessary to vaccinate first of all those who have diseases of cardiovascular and bronchopulmonary systems, suffer from diabetes and obesity. These patients are at risk of severe complications”, – reminds the regional health authorities.
There are 17 teams of mobile medical and obstetric centers in the Vladimir region, which vaccinate employees of enterprises and organizations, as well as residents of remote settlements. There are more than 50 stationary vaccination centers in the region.
