The State Duma Terminated the Powers of Deputy Alexander Avdeyev, Who Was Appointed Deputy Governor

The relevant decision was taken at the plenary session of October 14

On October 14, the plenary session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation passed a resolution on early termination of powers of deputy Alexander Avdeev, who was appointed acting governor of Vladimir region a week ago.

“To consider the powers of State Duma deputy Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Avdeev <…> terminated early on October 5, 2021 on the basis of his written application to resign his deputy powers in connection with his appointment as acting governor of the Vladimir Region,” TASS quoted from the document.

We shall remind you that Avdeev’s predecessor, Vladimir Sipyagin, on the other hand, went to work at the State Duma, where he took the post of first deputy chairman of the Committee on Science and Higher Education.
