Regional Rospotrebnadzor commented on the resolution according to which employers in Vladimir region must vaccinate at least 60% of their employees against coronavirus by September 15. This applies to budgetary institutions and companies whose employees interact with customers.
“We believe that this decree is overdue and was issued quite in time, because the situation is already very tense, and where we will “go out” now… Either we will be stabilized, or we will have an explosive growth – it depends only on us. That is why I call all employers not to panic and to read this decree and to start vaccinating their employees”, – the acting head of a regional Rospotrebnadzor Yulia Potseluyeva told journalists.
She also spoke out about the queues for coronavirus vaccination in conditions of vaccine shortage:
“The Ministry of Industry and Trade says that the issue of vaccine supply should be fixed in the near future. That’s why we gave a whole month for workers and employees to be vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine. I think everything will work out”.
When asked what to do for the employees who have a medical exemption from vaccination, Potseluyeva answered that in this case they will be among the 40% who will not be vaccinated.
But having antibodies is not a contraindication for the coronavirus vaccination:
“Currently, test systems have different units of measurement and are not comparable in terms of their results. There are a lot of test systems that register the number of G antibodies in the blood. But from the experts’ point of view, now having a high immunoglobulin G level is not a contraindication for vaccination. But I want to say that […] it is the responsibility of the doctor or paramedic to justifiably allow patients to be vaccinated”.
As for sanctions against employers who do not vaccinate 60% of their employees by September 15, they will be liable under Part 2 Article 6.3 of the Administrative Code – “Violation of legislation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of population”. They will draw up reports on the violators, which will be later submitted to the court.
Under this article legal entities face fines of 200 to 500 thousand rubles, officials and individual entrepreneurs – from 50 to 150 thousand rubles. Rospotrebnadzor added that vaccination of teenagers against COVID-19 is not yet discussed. The incidence rate in this age group is quite low.
