On April 22, the Oktyabrsky District Court of Vladimir ruled in the cases of two participants in Wednesday’s unauthorized rally of Navalny’s supporters. Thirteen people were detained during the protest, 11 of whom were released on the same day.
Kirill Ishutin and Vladislav Belyakov (brother of activist Daniil Belyakov) were kept in custody awaiting trial. As a result both activists were brought to responsibility under part 8 Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Violations – “Repeated violation of the established order of organization or holding of a meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picketing. Ishutin was sent to the TDF for 15 days, and Vladislav Bialiakov – for 20 days.
“Deciding the issue of assigning punishment to each of the guilty for the offense, the court took into account the nature and degree of its public danger, the circumstances mitigating and aggravating administrative responsibility, as well as data about the personality of each offender,” – explains the website of the Oktyabrsky district court.
Before the April rally, activists Ivan Tumanov and Ilya Kosygin were detained. They were placed under administrative arrest for 11 and 9 days, respectively. The reason was a protest event in front of the Pokrovsk penal colony #6 on April 6.
