By 2024, the Vladimir region plans to halve the number of officials involved in providing services to individuals and businesses. In the near future Employment Centers and Population Protection Centers will stop receiving citizens, and their functions will be taken over by MFC (multifunctional centers for provision of state and municipal services), as well as the “Gosuslugi” portal. This was told by vice-governor Arkady Botsan-Harchenko during a press conference on April 27.
The civil servant added that the digital transformation of the region also implies that business representatives will be able to receive public services only in electronic form, bypassing the direct interaction with officials.
As of today, 80% of residents of the Vladimir region have registered on the “State Services” portal, but only 10% of them have a verified account that provides access to a wide range of functions of the portal. The state encourages citizens to use the portal more often.
Digital profiles of citizens are planned to create when applying in person at the MFC, when receiving a passport and when giving birth to a child. Arkady Botsan-Kharchenko clarified that registration on the portal “State Services” is not forced, and if for some reason citizens are strongly against it, they can refuse to form a digital profile.
