In Vladimir, Teenagers “Hooliganized” in Patriot Square

Now the police are looking for them

Vladimir City Hall in its social networks published information about the incident that occurred on January 6, 2022 in the “Patriot” square. A group of minors approached a time-worn car, and then two young men climbed on it.

They climbed into the back and decided to open the wooden door of the exhibit. To do this, the hooligans loosened it and got into the cabin of the car. At that moment the PSO employees, guarding the square, got to the scene and chased the intruders away.

Significant damage to the car was not caused – the door was eventually put back in place. But the city administration urges the citizens and teenagers to treat the exhibit with care.

“This is not a museum piece. We understand that very well when kids are exploring the design, climbing inside… You just have to do it all wisely. Not big kids climbing up and jumping around like they’re on a park ride. This is, after all, an example of post-war technology,” said Alexander Karpilovich, official representative of the mayor’s office.

City officials have already turned over all available video and photo footage to the police to identify the teens.

UPD: The Department of Inquiries of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Vladimir opened a criminal case for vandalism committed by a group of individuals. The city prosecutor’s office took the investigation under special control. At the moment a set of investigative and operational-investigative measures to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.
