Director of the Department of Education Explained to Students How the Vladimir Region Will Be Able to Withstand Western Sanctions

Svetlana Boltunova held an open lesson for high school students

The director of the Department of Education held an open lesson for the 10th grade students of Vladimir school No. 19. Svetlana Boltunova told high school students about the concept of “sanctions,” about the global economy and the features of the economic situation in the country. As explained on the website of the department, deepening knowledge on current topics is the most important task of the education system.

“For the past five years, industry has been growing in the region, and our domestic regional product is growing. We have all the resources to withstand sanctions,” the department’s website quotes Boltunova as saying.

Schoolchildren were told about export and import, as well as how major domestic enterprises producing raw materials, auto parts and so on work. The regional department stressed that the pupils liked the lesson and asked to hold such classes in other schools in order to keep them up to date.

We shall remind you that Alexander Avdeev, the Acting Governor, approved Svetlana Boltunova in the position of Director of the Regional Department of Education on April 18. Since December of last year, she had been heading the department with the prefix “Acting”.
